Raddie’s Knot of the Day – Figure 8 Knot

Note: Do not try this unless you are with a parent or an adult.

One of the first knots that I learnt was a Figure 8 knot. It’s called a Figure 8 because that’s what it looks like. Here’s what you do.

With the tail of the rope, make a loop.

Take the tail of the rope and feed it underneath.

Pass the tail through the loop.

This completes the Figure 8 knot.
